Accommodation for students who are successful in their grant application to attend AMSI Summer School 2018 will be located at Mannix College, which is a residential college situated in the grounds of the Monash University.
Students who do not apply for a grant or are unsuccessful with their grant application (self-funding students) can contact the Mannix College directly to arrange accommodation. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and mention ‘AMSI summer school’ to receive a quote. Alternatively, students can use other accommodation options such as Airbnb during their stay. It is recommended that students choose locations that are on the train lines above, in close proximity to Huntingdale station. AMSI and Monash University make every effort to ensure that costs associated with student accommodation for self-funded students are kept to a minimum amount.
Please note: Accommodation for local Melbourne students is not supplied, though they are still welcome to attend the social events during the AMSI Summer School.
AMSI Summer School offers two types of grants to help students from AMSI member institutions cover the cost of their travel, accommodation and/or child care fees. To view eligibility guidelines and apply for an AMSI Summer School Grant, please visit our Grants page.
